I'm looking for a suitable tablet for my 10 year old, but I have no idea what to look for.
He needs something that can handle gaming, drawing and school work, preferably android, but also something that will last a while.
I want something not too expensive, but also I don't want to end up getting something that's rubbish and slow either.
Any suggestions appreciated
One thing to be aware of about tablets on Aliexpress is that all sellers greatly exaggerate how small the bezel is. If you compare the photos on the listing to photos from an actual review the bezel is sometimes twice as large in real life than the photos they post. It's a shady practice and I don't know how they get away with it.
Would be worth checking with the school that you are attending now or expect to (ie intermediate).
Some schools use software that only works on particualr platforms so you don't want to end up with something where the software won't work.
I imagine you should be OK at primary school but this can change for intermediate / high school.

what size do you want? it comes it around 10 inches or around 7 inches.
theres the samsung tab A7 or the tab a8.
I recently bought a Lenovo P 11. This is an 11" tab which has 128GB Storage, 6 GB Ram and runs a Snapdragon 662. It's a good tablet. You didn't mention budget - this one was $436 on special. They're sold at up to $599. The P11 model specs vary a bit and I was careful to get one that had good specs. This is the TB-J606F. I'd reccomend it.

Follow a user called Clear on Ozbargain. They are often posting up decent tablets and if you look through their history you will see previously posted deals where people discuss each tablet. Lenovo and some of the off brand ones on Ali seem to get a nod a lot.
