  No discount for ipad air, I suggest purchased Ipad pro, high refresh rate and best performance CPU will makes you worth to pay the extra money.

    The iPad Air has the same processor as the iPad Pro. If you’re after an 11”, you’re getting 120Hz refresh rate, a better camera, and Face ID instead of Touch ID, but that’s about it.
    
    The 12.9” is clearly better than the Air and has a bigger and better mini LED screen, but it’s much more expensive.
