  • Porsche already gone …

  • ToyCo have lots of things on sale this weekend for around 10% cheaper than The Warehouse.

Make sure to get the warehouse to price beat first, then checkout using the app to get buy one get one free plus $5 off with $50 spend in app.

For example 2x of the $80 technic cars can be had for around $92

Also keep an eye on Kmart. Quite often a lot cheaper than The Warehouse. Good to use as a Price Promise.

  • Price beat got refused by EJ

    • I can’t even get through to any agents

  • Has anyone been successful with getting a price beat?

    • No luck and with Ben rn

      • I struggled with Ben too for a different price match

Initially told it's due to the current warehouse promotion.

    Now this

You can wait until the promotion has ended if you wish but we will not be able to apply any price adjustment with the item while it is on a promotion. We cannot remove our own promotion from the cart, and as we cannot price promise in combination with our own promotion, we wouldn't be able to honour this.

Which implies a cart and app issue…which one is it? Not sure but I was asking for a price promise and not wanting to use it in conjunction with their current promotion. Still given a firm no.

Ben's now come back and said

Yes, you can try requesting the price promise instore instead.

*NOTE I WAS REQUESTING A PRICE PROMISE FOR 1 LEGO ITEM as he was clear they wouldn't price promise to use in conjunction with buy one get one 50% off

I'd love to know if anybody can get a price match. I had a very interesting discussion with Ben, he would not budge. From what I can tell they won't price match something that is on a promotion because they cannot change the price in the cart. Seemed very flimsy and very fishy. I pointed out that I wanted him to beat it on one item, he said they were not able to do that because they can't alter the price in the cart. I should have asked if this was a technical limitation or a policy. Their price policy is getting very annoying to ustilise.

Ben went from saying it was policy due to price promise terms not being met - to ending it with it being a cart issue. Advised me to get price promise in store once I asked him what the issue was exactly, terms or cart.

  • I also tried to get some contact info for somebody I could give feedback to inside the Warehouse about this. He would only give me generic emails and phone numbers. When I pushed him for a specific person and their details, eg an online sales manager, with whom to contact he said he wasn't able to do this. So I asked where would an email go if I sent one, he said it would go to their internal team who would pass on the feedback. What does that mean. I guess it's not like the old days when you could ask to speak to their supervisor or manager, maybe they don't even have one. Who knows.

  • I managed to get a price beat instore when they had the BOGOHP at the beginning of the toy month promotion. My first time trying a price beat via the online chat last week, and that was the Stuntz Double Loop Set, and Ben did the match with Mightyape and then I applied my 10% off discount. Got it for $88 instead of $207.
