Rex Tremendous is the café right by the entrance to Wellington Zoo. They serve great coffee as well as a wide range of tasty food and drinks.

For Visa Wellington On a Plate's Burger Wellington, they're whipping up "Sexy Rexy". That's slow-cooked beef brisket with provolone, battered onion rings and mustard mayonnaise in a Pandoro bun, with slaw, fries and housemade ketchup. There's also the option to go vegan and swap in a tofu, bean and mushroom patty.
