Hi there kind folks, I am looking to get 4 tyres for a mate's highlander. She does do trips to Auckland and back on the vehicle. Specs are
245/55R19 103V. Budget is $250 each. Anyone know of any good deals in Hamilton for these new tyres, please? Prefer decent branded ones if possible.

For $250 she won't be able to afford the actual brand name ones, but Atlas UHP is only $218.39 + $20 fitting

Could see what nexen tyres they have in that size.
At that price the only options will be cheap Chinese brands that simply won't perform as well or be as safe as a quality brand name tyre. Up to you and your mate if you want to make that compromise.
If she mostly drives slower and just around town then either the Atlas Force UHP or Accelera Iota St68 are probably acceptable, but you are absolutely compromising handling and grip (especially in the wet).
Thank you all, she has decided to spend/invest a bit more and get decent tyres. I appreciate all the advice which, in my view, are spot on.
No idea for those tyres specifically (and not in Hamilton), but if she drives to Auckland, then I have often found Drury Tires (it is misspelt - I doubt that the whole of Drury gets fatigued) to be well priced.
