    Is it usually $10? Odd. Made my first booking late June this year (for lunch) and they only charged me $5. Don’t remember there being any deal on at the time.. guess they’ve increased the price since then?

      It's been $10 for ages.
      You may have had a credit for $5 - could have been from a referral when you signed up (being that it was your first booking) as you get $5 for that.
      You can even add your own referral code on Cheapies - see the link just under my post.
      They also run promos from time to time. I had one a month or so back where I got a $5 targeted credit to use during the month.

          Login to First Table.
          Then click on your profile and select 'Promo Code'
          Your referral link is there.

              @Superpower21: I just had a look on my IPhone and my wife’s Android - it’s definitely visible on all platforms.

              Once you have logged in and clicked on your profile picture you should get a menu which includes the option ‘Promo Code’.
              Once you click that you will need to scroll up a small amount but should then be able to see both your promo code and referral link as well as options to copy them to the clipboard.

                @bigcheese: Thanks for going through the trouble to check it out for me. I definitely can't see the promo code on my phone for some reason, maybe it's problem with huawei phone again?

                      I created a brand new account to test and the new account does not have the Promo Code option in the menu.

                      Have you made any bookings using your account?
                      Wondering if you need to have made a booking for it to show, otherwise looks like the option is gone.

        Ah, correct. Just checked my email and I got $5 credit from them. Don’t remember reading it so must’ve completely overlooked it. Will add my referral code - thanks!

    Watch out for places that have the required drink purchase. I dont drink booze and they made me buy a $10 bottle of water so I bailed.
