  Interesting, comes out to be a similar price to the new Macbook Air M2 with 512gb and 16gb. I suspect this has a better screen and a fan meaning better performance? I'd still prefer it cheaper I guess.

    Screen on Pro is far superior to the Air. And yes fan makes a difference.

  This is a really good price, only 39 dollars more than a refurbished model for the peace of mind.

    don't refurb models tend to be more reliable since they gone through another review processing?

      Yep they go through another review process + parts replacement, however not everybody is comfortable buying refurbished even if apple is known for their quality refurb line

      I've had a few Apple refurb iPads that were faulty on arrival.

      Apple were super good in sorting it out though.
