Yep they go through another review process + parts replacement, however not everybody is comfortable buying refurbished even if apple is known for their quality refurb line
I've had a few Apple refurb iPads that were faulty on arrival.
Apple were super good in sorting it out though.
Interesting, comes out to be a similar price to the new Macbook Air M2 with 512gb and 16gb. I suspect this has a better screen and a fan meaning better performance? I'd still prefer it cheaper I guess.
