Has anyone tried renting a car using PSA membership code? Will there be a need to show the membership card if any of you have used before? I'm trying to book via Avis using psa code I got from my friend but I'm not a PSA member. With the code I'm getting around $600 difference which I don't want to risk in case they ask for membership card!

I have not used the PSA code but have used N3 a couple of times over the years which will be a similar process.
Definitely didn’t get asked for the card at checkin, only my drivers licence.
It is a chance you take though.
When I asked PSA if I could use my discount for a family member, they gave me a strong no. Can't remember though if I had to confirm my membership details when I picked up my rental car in Nelson (I've only used this discount once - Ezi Car).
