I sub to the email alerts from Seeya. One option could be to setup a dedicated email address for alerts and have them come through to your phone?
Not aware of any service offering text alerts for flight deals.
Thanks, Seeya looks good. Annoying part was that I was most of the way through booking a return trip ($5 each way) when it sold out. It was a same day trip, but would have been nice outing for $10. I thought it held the ticket until you finished processing (within time limit)
Ahh yea, that's a pain, I don't think Grabaseat, or Jetstar, hold flights, it's just luck of the draw and a pain if you miss out after filling out all of the details.
A couple of days ago Air NZ had $5 seats both ways between Christchurch & Queenstown. Went fast as to be expected. Is there any predictability to these low fare releases or just luck of the draw? Thought of using their Low Fare Finder but it is based on email & specific end to end routes. Don't check email often enough to do anything but say 'Bugger' when you realised you've missed it. Pity it isn't synced to a text alert.
