  • Has anyone used these guys? How good are the lenses and frame quality?
    Thanks in advance!

I don't know about Clearly but I've bought $19 and $29 complete sets from a site called Ezyglasses, they were fine and I'm guessing Clearly will have the same kind of quality with their cheaper frames. This crowd have a 30 day return policy anyway so there's nothing really to lose, just return them and get your money back if you don't like them.

For this deal I grabbed a pair of Ray Ban Stateside frames and added some coating to the prescription lenses, and then for my free ones I grabbed a pair that comes with a couple of sunglass clip-ons and just kept the lenses basic. $250 all up, great price.

    • Frames are good but lenses are plastic.

      • I think you'll find most places do plastic lenses these days, you can still get glass lenses but plastic ones are the most common.

        • Agree - partly because plastic lenses are much lighter I imagine.

      • all lenses are perspex now, due to strength and weight.

    • The basic lenses Lenses fog and no anti glare coating

      OK for non sport/sweaty use

Yeah I've used them before, mostly for sunglasses.
A bit too risky personally for daily wearing glasses.

    Similar to $39 glasses.

Make sure you're well versed with the size measurements so the frame will fit your head. Perhaps try in a store here and take note of what frame styles and sizes actually work for you first.

Understand measurements width, (nose width especially on plastic framed glasses as you cant pinch that up), arm length etc. They can be different between the sites at times too sadly, in terms of how the information is displayed and how well you can filter down on them.

With online you don't get to specify where the natural resting position of your eyes are in the frame, like you can do when being measured up in store.

  • I have for a cheap(<$100) prescription glasses & was happy with the result.

  • my prescription is out of their range - "Hmm, it's not working. Try BOGO20 or LENSUP20 for glasses or SUPER10 for contacts. Contact lens subscriptions are not eligible for further discounts."

  • Just tried the code on some $105 sunglasses, add 2x to the cart and entered code and it reduces the price by 50% ($210 down to $105).

Other codes are LENSUP20 for glasses or SUPER10 for contacts
