So as promised when I started the UN-Official Cheapies Discord Server, here is the mega post of recommendations.

The discord has seen plenty of chat and suggestions and personal recommendations about what to buy, summaries below.

        The prizes are good aye. Seems like Cheapies has grown quite a bit in these last few months, which will make it harder to land the big (upvoted) fish.

        Also, thanks for the post mate. Appreciate the amount of effort that has gone into it.

    Can you recommend a powerbank for car battery please, if it's recommended to use a powerbank to jump start a car at all.

      Not something i've ever researched, could probably put some time into it later this week.

      I know there are portable battery solutions designed for just this, but the weight of one of them (to get a battery both large enough and with enough crank amps) would mean I doubt you would import one. Probably worth checking repco (there is a 10-15% off discount for cheapies) and super cheap auto as I would guess theres probably only a couple of options between them

      If I remember correctly there was something pbtech also had. Will try to find out. Also there were decent options on AliExpress a while back.
