  item is $38.20 at checkout converted to nzd google say its 42.53

    $42.53 is the price including delivery

    I’m being quoted $2.38NZD for delivery. So with current conversion that’s $40.15 for the item, subject to fluctuate a tiny bit obviously

    Depends on where you live too. I'm rural so it's $45 delivered for me (or $40 because of that Amazon $5 credit deal).

      Strange I got quoted $3.14 for delivery.

      is the $5 credit deal worth it? seems to have a very short expiry date for the promo credit.

        Probably a bit risky now to try and get it because it's probably close to the 5000 person limit. Been worth it for me. Free $5.

  Formula for cost with Amazon is basically remove oz GST, add NZ GST, add shipping cost convert to NZD add credit charge conversion costs

  If you assume 1 NZD = 0.9 AUD and your credit card charges 2% commission on foreign currency conversion the total cost would be

  ( ( 34.50 / 1.1 * 1.15 ) + 2.14 ) / 0.9 * 1.02 = $43.30 NZD delivered

  If you use Wise card, you can probably get it down to approx $42.66 since they have only about 0.5% commission
