Had someone pick my 2 up from the PN store this afternoon. A few issues with the store not allowing them to leave with someone who wasn't me although they had all the required info, email confirmation, ID etc but after a phone call to the store they allowed it.

@Bill: Got em out of curiosity at first (one of the prior echo dot 3 deals on here).
I use it to control the lights, tell my Roborock where to vacuum, do my shopping list, play music, and answer general questions. Standard stuff.

Just pick up my Echo Show 5, haven't sign up to Amazon AU, what is the best way to sign up to max the benefit eg prime etc?
Don't need prime to use Echo. I have show 5 & 8 since more than a year now. Only thing would be amazon music if you want music. I use youtube, only issue is you can't select song on youtube by telling, have to click on it.
Controlling lights, setting alarms, getting recipes, night clock and kids love talking to Aexa (that's what they call her sometimes lol)
Spotify integrates perfectly too if you prefer that to Amazon music.
Didn't think of that one, but not paying for another service right now. Maybe in future.
