Next job is to book hotels - any recommendation for a family of 4 [2 adults and 2 kids] in dubai for 3 nights.

Booking.com often has deals on cashrewards for cashback, sometimes 10% or more, and the booking.com Genius loyalty program means sometimes you get the rate cheaper than what the hotel's own site can offer.
I always look into booking direct through the hotel website though, often you can get special deals or perks not available to those who book through a 3rd party
Worth looking at booking.com as both logged-in users and in privacy mode because sometimes they have lower prices when you are not logged in.
Also, they have lower prices when you browse the site from a mobile web browser.

who are you flying with? When we flew with Etihad we could get a night free through them, might only be for Abu Dhabi though which is worth a visit if not a night or 2.
