    For an extra 10% off you could also price promise at The Ware… Nope, don't worry

      😢

    • To be fair they didn't price beat on tech things I think. It would still be good to get the warehouse/stationary to price match and get two of them to get the $5 off $50 spend.

      • price match then "Welcome10"?

        • Yes you could try a pricematch at Warehouse Stationery and then go for an extra 10% with the WELCOME10 code.
          Keep in mind that delivery is an extra $6.90 at Warehouse Stationery unless you spend over $46, so click and collect might be a better option if you only want one.

          • @bigcheese: that'd bring it down to $9 something then right?

            • +1

              @Rowjo: If you managed to get a match at $33 and then used WELCOME10 (10% off) then you could theoretically get it for $29.70 ($33 less $3.30).
              Makes for $9.70 after cashback.

              YMMV

                @bigcheese: Buying two might be the way to go. (New account) $66 - $5 off $50 - 10% off = $54.90 delivered = $7.45 ea.

                Sell one keep one (sold mine for $20-30 ea. last time).

                • @Wakrak: That would work too!

                  Anyone wanting to do this keep in mind that the $5 off $50 offer at Warehouse Stationery ends today.

                • @Wakrak: Can you claim cashback on two, given the T&C "Only one (1) claim may be made per Eligible Product purchased"?

                  • @sunshinenz: I read that as I can only do one cashback claim per product purchased. Has been allowed in the past but best to double check with Brother.

    Found my old comment.

    For all the new label maker owners;

    For cheaper tape, search 'TZe laminated' on Aliexpress.

    For power, you can either run it off batteries or buy a power cable

    Plenty of helpful information in the many PTH110 threads on Cheapies.

    • Or use CSC to get Eneloops at a better price (label maker requires six AAA batteries).

    • If you do use batteries, take one or two out when it's not in use. Not sure why but in my experience it makes a 10x difference in longevity.

    • This is the most valuable post of the thread.

      They sell these at a loss as it's razor and blades model, the margin on the tapes and power adapters are huge.

      Ali Express is like $3 for a 12m tape vs an OEM $30 from Brother.

      The power adapters are reverse polarity to sell power adapters (also $30) when they should be included. What else can you buy that takes batteries, offers a power input but doesn't supply a power adapter?

      Even when off, the device eats batteries for lunch, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's by design to sell power adapters.

  • In the process of price matching with online chat at Warehouse Stationery… TBC

    • Nanobyte Solutions are counted as wholesale according to the assistant I was chatting with.
      I used the bigcheese method for maximum discount via price matching with the Brother site. Thanks for the post.

  • Nanobyte Solutions, where is my 3090ti LOL

  • Thanks, OP. received the printer today and claimed cashback. Very happy.

    • Good stuff.
      No problem.

  • Price has gone up.
