20% off All Green and Roasted Coffee @ The Coffee Workshop

90
FLASH20

Hi all,

My first post, but have been a cheapies 'observer' for quite some time, so happy to contribute (hopefully correctly!).

Green beans
Roasted beans

Received email from the coffee workshop with this deal and figured it's a reasonably good one to stock up on some freshly roasted coffee beans and.

Definitely suggest contacting them either through email / phone to discuss coffee preferences - for example dad loves extra roasted coffee, Turkish grind - the team there happy to guide with choice and are quite accepting of notes and requests: https://www.thecoffeeworkshop.co.nz/contact-us.html

Shipping is a tad pricey, 10 dollars to the South Island, and 15 for North Island. But free shipping if spending over 180 NZD (a lot of coffee!)

  • I purchase regularly from them and would recommend them to you. Unless you are a coffee roastery, I do not know where you can get cheaper beans retail/online, when they have their 15 or 20% off offers.

    • I should have clatified that I buy green beans, not roasted beans. Not sure where you can buy cheaer green beans retail/online. Happy to hear from others.

      • Home Barista Shop sell green beans for a good price. I've only bought their roasted beans but FWIW I enjoy them. Or if you wanted to go big, there's a guy currently selling a 60kg sack of Brazil green beans with a reserve of $450 on TradeMe here.

        • I wonder how much weight a 60kg sack of green beans will lose once they're roasted?

        • Neville runs and operates the Home Barista shop, and is a very lovely person to deal with. I got my Magister Stella off him over 4 years ago, and is an excellent Italian made espresso machine if any of you are looking for one. I buy green beans off Home Barista Shop too.

        • Anyone based in Hamilton interested in going halves on the 60kg sack of green beans?

  • Flight Coffee is also quite reasonable, "3 Pack - save 20%" 750g $31.50 with free shipping, but delivery is 4 days from order confirmation.

  • Thanks for sharing the deal OP but that additional shipping fee is quite a turn-off. As mentioned within this thread, other options (Flight Coffee, Supreme Coffee, etc) end up being more economical.

  • Thanks, worked for me, although that shipping is a bit much!

  • Am I missing something or do they have no info about roast level? I assume it's all roasted medium dark or dark given they haven't specified anything. Hopefully not further into dark-burnt.

  • Great first post @9009i
Thanks for taking the time to share. Just ordered a 5kg lot of green beans.
Even with the expensive shipping cost, still works out a bit cheaper than my usual supplier.
