Visiting family living overseas in December and would like to stock up on some chocolate goodies for the young'uns.
Is there a specific period where I'd get more bang for my buck? eg are there any solid sales after/before Halloween?
TIA

Discounted halloween chocolate is usually low-quality, unbranded stuff. Branded multi-packs will still be relatively expensive unit weight wise.
Nah, they don't really follow a set schedule, you just need to know the pricing floors and wait for products to get close to them. With Whittaker's you might be looking at $3.70 since the recent price increase, so if you see it offered for something like $3.89, I'd pull the trigger then.
Use Grocer to monitor a bunch of Pak N Saves, then match with The Warehouse if the branch with the lowest price is too far from you. Just note that The Warehouse doesn't carry the full range.
Thanks team, y'all are legends
Post Halloween and Post Valentine day
On the lead up to Halloween the supermarket tend to do a good job of discounting the branded multipack.
Anyone remember the chocolate bargains at The Warehouse just after Easter in 2020? NZ was in Covid lockdown and The Warehouse could barely give the chocolate away! Along with the free shipping codes our courier thought we were setting up a dairy with all the deliveries.
Any particular type / brand of chocolate?
If it's the usual Whittaker's, grocer.nz + The Warehouse price match + marketclub discounts go alright.
The Warehouse also tends to sell their Halloween chocolate at a good price afterwards (if there's any left).
