  • looks like the deal is over, its now going for $648 on the website

    • Damn. Perhaps it was a pricing error.

      • i'm gutted, had it in my cart and it was $398 until I decided to check out. oh well!

        • +1

If you visit the r/hometheatre sub reddit, you'll feel better about the situation. Anyone looking at soundbars will get absolutely flamed as audio quality is much much better when intestine the same money into L and R channel speakers.

          • @airbourne20: for $398, can you even get something better in seperates?

            • @Kdzc83: I'm no expert, probably need to fork out an extra couple hundred for something like the ELAC debut 2.0 b5.2 (RRP $600) for a quality entry point along with something to power them. I'm a fan of hawking audio gear from TradeMe when people upgrade/move for half the price. Just thought it point out the benefit:cost ratio of adding soundbars isn't great compared to other solutions in alot of instances.

              • @airbourne20: Yeah I know what you mean it's sure is worth getting separates at higher price bracket, but for like $800 under soundbar does the job. I also like the convenience of wall mounting the soundbar under the tv.
