  • Do people use this as an “iron” as well? Or only as a refresher? Thanks.

    • It's used to remove wrinkles from garments that can't or shouldn't be ironed, e.g. pleated or gathered dresses, jackets, synthetic fibres, etc. Steamers never get hotter than 100 degrees for obvious reasons, so they're very gentle.

      Also commonly used to maintain synthetic wigs.

  • For the same price get a floor-standing model from trademe. Infinitely better.

  • nice just got one. had a standing steamer too but didn’t get much use because of how bulky it was. hopefully this will be easier
