    Yes, there is an annual fee and plus they want to know way too much information about you now.

      The t&c says "A fee of $55 is charged at the anniversary of your account and is for maintaining the account for the previous 12 months. It is then charged each subsequent year the account remains open." - Does this mean we could cancel before a year lapses and not get charged the $55 annual fee?

        Yes I cancelled before the anniversary, that's what I did last time with purple Visa . They also want a lot more personal and Financial information this time.
