Equipped with Intelligent Torque Sensor for a seamless pedal feel and superior range. The NCM C5 delivers maximum performance for your urban commuting, fitness and even adventure cycling needs. Powered by a 36V 250W pushing the fast-rolling wheels up to 25km and a range of up to 100 km (faster speeds, longer range achievable under pedal power only) you can tackle your day’s journeys in sweat-free casual mode, fitness pace or anywhere in between.

With standard features like Single Speed, 3 Pedal Assist Modes and Integrated Lights, you can ride the NCM C5 in any conditions for work, adventure or all of the above. Upgraded to Torque Sensor Technology, the C5 power assist is distributed according to the power being put into the pedals rather than simply the number of revolutions.

Personally, I'd be nervous going up to 32kph on caliper brakes. Especially in wet weather. I don't think I'd touch an eBike without disc brakes.

    • Would you ride any bike without disk brakes? Not hard to hit 32 km/hr down hill on any bike.

    • I would worry about the whole structural integrity of an Electric bike that only weighs 18 KG. I have an electric bike (26kg) it cruises at 32km, and disc brakes are essential at that speed.

    • Road bikes would go much faster than that back in the day on caliper brakes

This is true, but those bikes at those speeds are typically ridden by more experienced riders. Ebikes are now opened up to a much wider range of rider experiences and the quality of brakes becomes a much bigger factor.
