Looking for some advice from some of you who are in the know.
What is the best bang for buck for keeping cats flea-free? There's quite a few products out there and most of it isn't cheap.

Bravecto for the win.
Pretty much the only thing our cattery recommends, refuses to take those who’ve had a dose of the stuff you can buy in the supermarket.
Have a check here, Jen’s Pet Supplies, by far the cheapest place I’ve found for Bravecto….
The best bang for buck is to buy the largest dog treatment you can find. Then measure out the required dosage for your cat. Use a small ml marked syringe. Sometimes the price is the same across the board but you just get much more of it in a large breed dog pack. Do check that the ingredients are the same.
If you really really want to cheap out. Search the active ingredient. It's Fluralaner in Bravecto and Selamectin in a lot of other quality treatments for example. Your vet might be able to provide you with the active ingredient generic medicine in a larger pack.
Check out vetpost.co.nz - I found them looking for dog wormer and they were massively cheaper than elsewhere.
Milbemax wormer was around $6 a tablet vs $38 for a 2 pack at Pet Direct.
