The truest, cheapest Z in New Zealand.

91- $2.25
95- $2.41
Diesel- $2.33 (Same as Rotorua)

Pro tip(stolen from @moodkiller): Make sure sharetank is at least set as your preferred payment method in the app (i.e not your bank card)
1. More (hamburger menu)
2. Pay by plate / pay in app
3. 3 dots
4. Preferences
5. Scroll down to the bottom
6. Choose either "Always pay with Sharetank or "Always use the lowest price"

    Christchurch used to be cheap compared to other cities but not anymore.

    Wish I could buy some from Hamilton to use now and to stock up for when the tax gets added back in Jan next year.

      Two ways around this BUT does rely on trust:

      • Get someone in one of these regions (Auckland or Hamilton) to share their tank with you and then pay them back for the fuel you use at the lower rate (could pay them before you fill up perhaps?)
      • Give your account details to someone in one of these regions and get them to top up for you

      But again, all comes down to trust.

  moodkiller method is different for me.

  Mine is

  1. More (hamburger menu)
  2. Pay by plate / pay in app
  3. Edit
  4. Payment method Sharetank
  5. Backup method must be a credit/debit card.

    Ah, yes your method is correct if you have Pay by Plate setup (i.e a number plate registered) as you can set the preferred method per car if you wish.

  I'd check Gaspy beforehand. I'm in Hamilton and can see 95 cheaper elsewhere that I can stack discounts with e.g. Z, NW etc. No guarantee what future prices might do.

    Yeah, what @Sharetank Dude said - the difference is 3c at the moment - I wouldn't really worry about that. If you're in Auckland, then it is 10c off at the Wiri Z using Pumped discount - so $2.18 in total
