Link above is for frozen tenderloin / eye fillet rather than scotch fillet. The New Workd deal is the better deal of the two from someone in the industry.

I've seen that N/w special at other times. I"d guess it 'll creep up in cost. I bought one yesterday $77 for about 3.7Kg- I cut 23 Steaks out of it (approx 1cm each in thickness more or less lol). Very good purchase. Nice enough steak and at $20 K/g WAY cheaper than the 'usual price' for Scotch Fillet which has now crept up to the high $40's. I figured it was cheaper than the last Rump I got which was $25 per K/g and so it'd be a good deal and it was.

    • Was that in the 90s? Whole prime steer/heifer scotch fillets on promotion range from $28.99-$38.99. You can probably source yellow dairy cow ones for $19.99.
