Has anyone seen any Xbox Game Pass (preferably Ultimate) deals around recently?
I did the 1 year conversion of Xbox Live time to game pass ultimate last year however am going to run out shortly. I investigated doing the conversion again, however it looks like Microsoft have got smart to the idea and now have a modifier to reduce the value of the conversion: https://www.xbox.com/en-NZ/live/gold/upgrade, scroll down to the FAQ and click the "After I join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, can I still redeem Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass codes?" question.
I've read some older posts on here that talk about a VPN to Turkey, but am also unsure if that still works to the extent it did when the post was written.
The conversion rate is only if you have an active ultimate subscription. From what I've seen, you can just let your ultimate expire, top up with gold and resub for 1 month to ultimate for the 1:1 conversion rate.
