  • I've been eyeing this up as well. At least makes it a no brainer to get the 55" over the 48".

The same $350 voucher deal is happening at Smith City, JB Hifi, and Harvey Norman BTW.

Is this because the C3 is coming? (April or May)

    • It's the same panel as C2 with a new(ish) processor and a new webOS version.

      • Yes, so C2 price will hopefully drop more :D

        • may be, may be not. This is still a good price incl the voucher. last time the C1 got as low as this price and LG pulled out the model and replaced with C2s.

  • JB Hifi are now also including free delivery on top of a $350 voucher (it's also $2593 so $5 less lol).

    Should be Samsung, not Panasonic.

Also if you're considering an OLED, I'd say it's really only worth considering the QD-OLED panels, as they are significantly better than traditional OLED panels (like the LG).
Currently I'm only aware of two models/brands of QD-OLED - the above listed Samsung panels (S95B), and Sony A95K, but I'm sure there would be more coming soon.

    • Doesn’t say anywhere on S95 that it is QD?

      • yeah, they don't actively market it as QD-OLED for some reason, but if you look up some detailed reviews online they will explain more detail about the panel.
QD-OLED really sounds a world better than traditional OLEDs.

        • The demo they have showing on the Sony A95K in NL looked absolutely mind-blowing compared to the C2 - thought they had just picked a better showcase reel but good to know there's a distinct hardware difference. To my layman's eyes it definitely looked better (though they were showing different things).

  • Thanks for this - been considering getting one of these for a while so have taken the plunge. Anyone know of a good soundbar to go with it that isn't too expensive? Might be a good thing to use my $350 voucher on
