Philips AquaTouch 3100 Wet & Dry Electric Shaver (S3122/51) $68 + $7 Shipping @ Heathcotes

80

Good price on this wet and dry electric shaver. Was cheaper one time back in 2020 according to Pricespy, but cheapest since then.

No Heathcote's near me so I price matched at Noel Leeming's, plus they have free CC and flybuys

Haven't used this model before but seems like a good basic wet dry shaver.

FYI Briscoes 'regular price' $210 lol

So $61.20 if you price beat at Briscoes.

      Yep.
Briscoes link if anyone wants to pricematch.

      • 71% off Briscoes price, good even by their standards

        • Is the Briscoes example the same model (3000 Briscoes vs 3100 at Heathcotes)

  • Got one of these back in September from the market X noel leaming for $71 delivered clubcard. Works well for the price and quite nicely made but the proof will be in how long before it becomes land full.

    • Me too. The last one lasted about 10 years, be interesting to see if I get the same life out of it.

  • How do the heads on this compare to the more expensive models with different blade systems? I have a old philips shaver that I think had an RRP of $400, and it has three levels of cutters in each head. It works really well but is old and needs new heads. Whereas this one only seems to have a single level around the edge.

  • My friend just bought 1, pricebeat instore@Briscoes and need to get the manager to apply the discount because it more than 60% of the RRP.

  • Can anyone tell me izzit possible and how to do a price beat online for Briscoes?

      • They also mentioned online here, not sure what is that mean tho. Also place order over the phone?

It's poorly worded but essentially you can get the 10% price beat by showing proof of a competitors price either:
Physically in store (such as sowing them a mailer) or with online proof (such as a website).
You can't get the match online - say via chat.

However, you can get the price beat over the phone (which I didn't realise).

You would think they could word a policy better when it only comprises of two paragraphs!

          • @bigcheese: Their policy is a lot better than some. At least they don't have all the catches that some others have.

@nzmax: I guess if they don't worded it properly, people are less likely to do a price beating there, and they will be a lots of argument with the shop staff and it's hard to prove who's wrong. The other day I got told by a Briscoes staff that the item im price beating need to be local available and can be pick up the same day at the local competitor shop, else they won't be price beating it. But the manager show up and honour me the deal.

              • @doubledippps: Yes, according to the Briscoes one, they only need to have a single retail store someone in NZ, it can't be an online only store. It think it is pretty clear, so not sure why the initial staff member tried to tell you something different. The manager was right to honour it.

          • @bigcheese: Thank you for this man!

  • quite happy with this product. I like how I can do wet shave - shaving cream helps with razor burns I get from electric shaver.
