I want to go on record to say that the prices for video card are ridiculous. I thought I was being silly when I bought my 1080 some years ago for $700. It got worse since…

Was tossing between this one and 6700xt for $200 less (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B08Y91QVG8). But went with this one since it's quite a bit faster and should get close to 6800xt when overclocked.

Believe this is the cheapest around. On par with local stock 6750xt but a superior card especially at higher resolutions.

Used market is pretty good Rn. Picked up a 6700xt for only 380 the other day. Still has almost 2 years warranty remaining.

I’m so nervous buying a used card. @apas023 did you use trademe?

    • used cards are fine, i only buy used due to the price.Make sure it has warranty, ask to see it running, check the condition and the stickers and make sure the heatsink does not have Corrosion otherwise warranty wont be honored.

    • I bought it off Facebook marketplace. Tbh I only buy from FBM when I can see that the seller has good reviews. I don’t buy from sellers that don’t have reviews.

Also like @coffeee said, make sure to ask for remaining warranty and a copy of the invoice. So if anything goes wrong you’re covered.

You must be associated with a computer parts retailer…

💀💀 You must be associated with a computer parts manufacturer… wanting people to buy cards with no warranty that will die early and you have to buy another

  • I wanted to mention Amazon customer service has been quite good. I purchased a hard drive via Amazon US and it stopped working after 3 months. I contact customer service through the Aussie website and they helped me arranged a return with no issue.

  • Thanks for sharing your experience.
