  Hi DEALSHUNTER. So what are the specific T&C's details plse, especially the Q? is it new app customers only, or existing Z app customers using new smart phones etc ?. (The Z webpage link U supplied doesn't load the specific T&C's). Thanx . Rob, ROBDEE.

  (Follow up question. Is it known wether you can, at one fuel up session, ADD this special 20c off pumped discount, to the 10c weekly pumped day discount. Thus get a 30c total discount in the one fuel up , up to the 50 litre max transaction allowed?. So that is NOT the Z "stacking" option).

  So in my situation, given current price and location, Z would be 3c/L cheaper than my usual (BP), 2c/L cheaper than Challenge across the road and 1c/L more expensive than NPD next door.

  Thanks MONKEY for the full T&C's on this. So it appears that the standard total Z discount for this 20c special promo + on the weekly Z pumped day discount excess sum 4 C. = 24 C discount on those pumped days. (which is 4c extra, which comes from the standard 10 C, at 10 - 6 = 4 cents. This assumes that the user has no extra stacked etc discount sums that Z would allow to be added to that 24 cents total discount?).

  There have been some very generous fuel discount offers around in recent weeks.

  A real shame as to me it indicates that we are all paying too much as this wouldn't exist if the margins weren't excessive.

  The fuel tax reduction probably has some part to play in this, allowing margins to be higher.

    Isn't this the reason the government banned things like prompt payment discounts with electricity companies. As it is the lowest income people that often can't take advantage of these sort of deals, so people who don' get the discounts end up paying more and covering the cost for those people that get discounts as a normal transaction.

  Today it shows up as 10c Pumped day (normally 6c) plus this promo of 14c off, weird but not complaining. Also borrowed the old man's gold card for an extra 20c off using Caltex. Total 44c off, sweet (but only on Caltex app)
