Came across when looking to renew my car insurance. Premium is on a higher side though.
The Free WoF Voucher is valid until 31 March 2024. Recipients have until this date to redeem a free warrant of fitness check at any VTNZ outlet around New Zealand.
Participants who fulfil the following eligibility criteria will receive, via email, a unique code to redeem a free warrant of fitness check from VTNZ, valued at $78 (the “Free WoF Voucher”):
a) Have purchased a new AMI Full Cover, Third Party Fire & Theft or Third Party Car Insurance policy (“Qualifying Policy”) in their own name, online, during the Promotion Period.
For the avoidance of doubt:
- i. The following policy types do not qualify as a Qualifying Policy: Commercial Vehicle, House, Rental Property, House Construction, Contents, Renters, Travel, Business, Motorcycle, Boat, Caravan & Trailer and Lifestyle Block;
- ii. Renewals, replacements, mid-term adjustments, re-keys, downgrades or reinstatements of existing AMI Car Policies (as determined at AMI’s sole discretion) do not qualify for this Promotion; and
- iii. If a participant takes out multiple Qualifying Policies, each Qualifying Policy will be eligible for the Promotion.
- b) Has paid, and AMI has received, the first payment of the premium for the Qualifying Policy; and
- c) Has a current Qualifying Policy at the time the voucher is sent to the person. Policies will not be current where they:
- i. have been cancelled,
- ii. become void or
- iii. where AMI has received notice to cancel the relevant policy.
- d) The quote and purchase of the Qualifying Policy must be processed and completed entirely online at ami.co.nz. If the quote and buy process is only partially completed online (e.g. the purchase of the policy begins online but needs to be completed over the phone) then the policy will not be eligible for the Free WoF Voucher.
VTNZ charge $78 for a WOF. That is pricey.
