  • Unbelievable price, thank you OP

  • Is this good enough to run Sab/Rad/Sonar/Plex with the current config without any upgrades? I have a few HDDs lying around and was thinking of creating a 2nd server..

  • Great Price

  • requires 80% off coupon?

      • yep, I see it doesnt apply until after you choose a payment method.

Well, i've ordered one. Thank god.

I've been using a rasp pi as a jellyfin server and it works…. just.

        • it hasnt charged my card yet so … grrr

          • @Grandma: pretty standard for Amazon purchases, usually get charged once it ships

            • @Garciahigh: I really don't like when they do this, makes sense for credit cards I guess so that they're not refunding outside of the billing cycle (i guess?) … Apple do it as well. As a rule we don't keep much in our paywave / online account because … security…. and it kinda made me nervous waiting for apple to ship and charge a laptop a while ago.

              • @Grandma: Doesn't make sense to me & I often think my credit card balance is looking healthy until I realise my sizeable Amazon purchases haven't been processed.

  • Wow, that's cheap for a 4-bay NAS!! Time to decommission my old Netegear 2-bay ones - can probably sell them both for what this new one cost

  • I can collect the coupon but when I check out the coupon does not apply.

    • Might be expired then. No longer appears on the coupon page where I originally spotted it.

      Edit - comment above

yep, I see it doesnt apply until after you choose a payment method.

      • I have. Chose my payment method and still no coupon applied.

    • Meanwhile I have too many Seagate Exo's 16TB and only one Synology NAS

  • Handy when I just got 4x4TB drives cheap from Amazon US with no place to put them..

    Hope they honour the pricing

  • Given all their other coupons are $ amounts off, I wonder if someone accidently put % instead lol. Was too slow, good luck to all who secured one, hope it's honoured.

  • Congrats to those who got one! Would've definitely picked this up had i been faster.

Damm I missed this, a nas is something I've bodged together from an old PC but something like this would tick the boxes of what I actually need from one and be much cheaper to run.

Just got the notification from Amazon that this has shipped, so looks like they're honouring the price (if it was a mistake).

    • Yee nice

Same, but I also received this message:

This is Doris from TerraMaster. I'm sorry to disturb you.

Thank you for your help and Look forward to hearing from you.

      Best regards,
      Doris
      TerraMaster

      • I just received it too. My initial thought, if it was a mistake they need to raise it with Amazon and have the package recalled before it leaves the Amazon Warehouse. No way I'll refuse the package at the door. For one, who knows what happens to it after that. And two, 99% of the time packages just get left at the front door by the courier regardless of signature-required lol.

      • They need to deal with Amazon directly. No idea what Amazons policy is in relation to this stuff

    • No shipping notification here yet, but no Doris email either.

    Received today

    • Lucky. Mine hasn't shipped, but hasn't been cancelled either. Will chase them up soon

  • Anyone else still waiting for theirs to ship?
