Queenstown: 59% off King Room at Kamana Lakehouse for 3 Nights ($905, Was $2228) @ Beat That Flight

I've actually stayed at this hotel and can recommend it (I was there when renovations were happening a couple of years ago), and even if you don't stay here, it's worth a visit for the fantastic bar/restaurant at the front with a spectacular view!

Note their own page has higher prices, but does offer a price guarantee, so it might be worth trying to get a lower price through them if they'll do it!

Also available: The Rees at 58% off, Heritage Queenstown 58% off, Crown Plaza 57% off, and many more on sale.

  • Great deal! Has anyone been able to find similar pricing/duration for later in the year, Aug/Sep/Oct?

  • Nice place but hard to get a carpark for your own room when the restaurant patrons take all the hotel guests carparks 😑.

Good sounding deals but the beatthatflight site seems a bit rubbish to me. I've done a search (2A, 2C, 29/4-2/5), clicked on 6 'book now' links, it loads SuperTravel which says 'FULLY BOOKED We are sold out of rooms for these dates.' What is beatthatflight actually looking at to not say 'sold out' like it does for some other accommodation options? I checked one, Mercure Queenstown Resort, on booking.com, it's $7 cheaper and I can actually book it. It seems to work for only 2 people.

beatthatflight can only provide information coming from the individual sites, we're an aggregator. Similar pros/cons with say, skyscanner or kayak - we can search lots of places, but their prices are often cached or could even be a few hours of date if they've had a bunch of sales. When a hotel is registered as sold out on say, trip.com, trip.com's systems pass that info back to us and is automatically updated. But given the literally thousands of destinations, let alone all the hotels at each destination, let alone all the dates and room combos in each hotel, it gets tricky to get it perfect, when receiving (not their fault either) imperfect data from providers.
And that's just hotels. Airline tickets are even crazier :P

    • Try hopper.com, got lucky with really good rates for Queenstown, from April-May 2023.

When I signed up I received over $80 from Hopper, used that for my booking in Queenstown, so its been pretty good. Saved approx 100+/night compared to booking.com
