  • What do people think of this one? I have a Mi34 how much better is this VA QLED?

    • Probably a very similar panel, if you are sticking with VA maybe consider the dell 34" 144hz ultrawide too which costs less currently (570$ ish) with the cheapies discounts but it's really well reviewed and has local 3yr warranty including dead pixels.

I got that 34" dell this weekend but honestly I feel that my x34 IPS 100hz predator which is about 5 years old has better colour and response times.

The dell VA panel has a yellow tint (dells screen coating) and was horrible with item drops text in diablo 2 and 4, made it all shimmery/feathered (VA smeer) so hard to read when you moved around - no such issues with my IPS the white text stays sharp with the black box around it in movement.

If I didn't have the screens side by side it probably wouldn't annoy me as much, but I'm sending the dell back and just going to wait for OLED to get a bit more affordable.

      • Nah I don't really like VA the Mi 34 is good for what it is but i wanna goto back to IPS eventually or OLED/Microled if its reasonably priced

I thought QLeds were IPS till i readup reviews

        • Hopefully more models hit the market this year, that Alienware 34" OLED needs some competition to get prices lower.

  • Did you just copy the OzBargain version OP? Because shipping is $50something to NZ.

  • Prism+ is same as the titan army in PBTech. I bought one of their W280 4k 60Hz IPS monitor few months ago from Amazon AU, it is OK for office use, no dead pixels and nothing wrong with it.

If you are looking for good monitor deal, I think this one is actually a good deal and bought 2 of them at NZ$827.22 including shipping 2 days ago. It was shipped by NZ Courier today I guess it will take a while to arrive since it is NZ Courier.

Use the two coupons from previous Dell post to get further 10% discount. It is the same panel as LG 27GL850 which is still NZ$900+ here, but downside is Dell does not have sRGB model while LG does.
