When did TWH stop selling Hazella?
Cheers, hassle free price match. They didn't apply the lower price to the blondie and biscuit flavour though.
Probably because of the 2 for $12 offer.
Silly that their "offer" blocks the better price via price match, but cant complain as still a good price for stocking up on all the other flavours :)
Cheers just bought 8 blocks and 12 bags of lindt
Since when did they originally cost $6.70? That is some bad inflation going on.
Was at countdown yesterday and saw prices upwards of $6 for all Whittaker’s blocks.
Made me turn around and walk away, shout-out inflation for stopping me from buying junk food
If/When you do your Warehouse click and collects you could also hunt for the red rabbit cardboard cutouts instore to win a prize
https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/c/easter/red-rabbit-hunt
Prize is usually a choc bunny or something but theres sometimes big prizes like laptops etc.
This FB post shows you what they should look like
https://www.facebook.com/TheWarehouseNZ/posts/pfbid0RcWCUTst…
Is this at every store? And is that mean there will be limited bunny cardboard per day and the best is pop in in the morning?
Theres ~50000 prizes total/~88 stores = ~570 store(will be more at popular stores than smaller ones most likely)/27 days = ~20 per day at a store
No idea on timing, I only shop there for click and collect these days. I would just do a quick walk down the easter egg aisle and see if theres anything if I went in
theres a new on for the price increase - https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/131546022/whittakers-increa….
What's the expiry on these, anyone know?
The lindt bags I collected yesterday have a best before of June 30th. I have to return those since I can't use them for the kids birthday in August.
If it's a best before date you are fine to eat them in August. If there was a food safety risk it would say use by, not best before. Not sure if the dates are printed on the individual chocolates, if not no one will know.
I purchased a few blocks and picked up yesterday. All blocks have a bb date of jan 2024. I also collected my lindt bags and most expire oct 2023 - TWH Whanganui
not sure, we all ordered online i think, unless someones been to the store. Will find out tomorrow on whats the expiry on mine.
tried doing pricematch at warehouse pakuranga but was told they can't do it coz it's not an auckland store
That’s a first.
Give it a go online.
Try online and use click and collect. Got 'Aroha' via the chat and she price matched easily
Looks like fresh choice is listing it as $5.50 now? Dang should of price matched yesterday but was too late as the warehouse assitant wasn't avaliable past 7pm haha.
Next best price is $4.79 I think.
Darn, missed this. Waited too long.
I managed to get it even expired. I said that I tried to match yesterday at 18:30 but the chat was unavailable. Cheers
A shop at Christchurch airport had a deal for 3 blocks of whittakers chocolate for $25 lol
My local Fresh Choice didn't have them at this price. They were on special but for $1 or $2 more.I remember the days before the Duopoly when supermarkets would also pricematch other coupons.
$4.49 PNS, Napier City
Legend, have been waiting to stock up.
I was able to price match other flavours too (I had a cart with multiple different flavours and I think the agent didn't bother checking each one, YMMV)
