oh man. these must be worth pennies haha
its the usual story, buy their printer cheap, then pay for their expensive ink refills.
they forgot about ChoiceCheapies: outsmarting retailers since 2014
Brought this printer, still going strong and have the ink refills from trademe keep filling them up when they run dry

Does canon pull those kinda stints?
Looks like you can get aftermarket ink cartridges for it:

Or you can just drill a hole in the cartridge and fill it up with ink for about $1
please share how to do this and I will be forever grateful <3
There are plenty of hacks and guides online or youtube, all dependant on your printer model. I just buy bottles of ink and drip them into the sponges below catridges. It's been a while buying ink using this method.
This particular printer has printer head cartridges and the only way to fill it is to drill a hole in the top of the cartridge and using the needle syringe supplied by many of the bulk ink suppliers on trademe (about $30 delivered 4 100ml bottles) or you can remove the top on some of these cartridges.
This video gives an idea of what to do and what is behind the top plate of the cartridge. https://youtu.be/29wN5-wxv-g
Might be time to take the one I bought last time out of its box
Now $88 but still listed as a hot deal lol
Previous deals: $18 2021, $16 2020.
