Fast food is not the cheap and quick meal that it once was. You're often paying exorbitant prices for what effectively amounts to air.
It made sense back in the day but for these prices you might well go anywhere else and get your actual money's worth.
Looks like im buying a $6.70 pack of those tegel takeouts chicken patties instead and making my own snack burgers

For $9. Wow. That's steep.
Oh I just realised this was for a big mac and a cheeseburger, I completely missed the big mac part, thought it was a cheeseburger combo! This is a good deal then.
I went into a bakery yesterday to buy a pie. The going rate for a pie at a bakery these days is like $7-$8!!! So in comparison, this $9 deal is decent.
ah the days pre 2008 when pies were $1.5 - $2 from the dairy
To be fair, pies range from $3.50 to $10.50
Considering inflation, it is an ok deal. But I only buy when I am in a different city as it is safe food.
