  • Fyi Shipping is $15, but referral gives you $20 credit, so can add $5 worth of stuff ontop of the bundle to use up the full referral amount

  • I signed up with a referral code from here, but nothing is showing.

Does it take a while to show up, or am I looking in the wrong place?

      • It says my 'Supie Cash Balance' is $0.00

I guess that means it didn't work?

I looked to see if there was any way to delete the account (so I could try again), but can't see any option to do that.

        • Yeah just make a new acc with diff email, and refer from this acc

Make sure the address bar says supie.co.nz/join?refe rrer=XXXXXXXXX while you sign up

    • When you checkout your order, there will be an option to choose between "pay with supie credit"/"save supie credit for later" or similar. The $20 referral credit will show up there.

It's just before you submit credit card details for payment.

My order got cancelled , apparently none of the items were in stock?

  • Order cancelled, no luck :(

  • Mine was cancelled as well.

  • Thanks for shopping with Supie. Unfortunately we don't have stock of the items you have ordered and therefore have cancelled your order in full. You will receive a refund to your Supie account or credit card for the order you have placed

  • Order cancelled.

  • My order was cancelled too. And they've changed the referral amount to $10 for $10. Also never refunded the referral supie $ for the cancelled order.

  • +2

Dodgy cancellation and referral changes lol

  • +1

Order cancelled too but I can see the items from my order still showing as available online

    • It's a bummer they are not honoring the order.

      • -1

I wouldn't expect them to honor it but at least credit back in Supie Cash the referral credit (to those that didn't abuse it harshly) so you keep the new customers who will eventually use that credit and maybe even buy more if the service is good.

        ALSO FYI:
        https://supie.co.nz/content/legals
Supie Cash earned through Give $10, Get $10 (Previously $20) expires three months after being loaded on to your account.

It's like Waitomo learning from the flaws of thier system.

        • Well i didn't get my credit refunded back to my account. Pretty misleading advertisement campaign that is not going down well for the company brand.

  • I placed an order on the 22nd and used this code (didn't think to post to Cheapies -.-) So will see if they honour it. Order is meant to arrive later this afternoon.

Supie won't be around in 3-4 years time, they are burning a lot of cash since their last capital raised, lack of brand variety and pricing is higher than Pak N Save, yes some items are cheaper for example the eggs but then you have to factored in the $15 freight, you end up paying twice as much than eggs are Pak N Save, with these type of tactics " I'm sorry there is no stock available" rather than been honest and front up by saying "we made a mistake, due to high acceptance of code WINTERWARMERS, we can't sustain the loss, we have honored X amount of orders that used the code WINTERWARMERS, the rest regrettably refunded".

    • +2

Supie also learnt their lesson when they were offering free shipping via TheMarket lol

      • No items for sale in their Market store haha

This sort of business model will not last. They will just easily loss more customers. A bunch of clowns running the business.

Cancelled as well and I was one of the earliest ones to put my order in, so I'm guessing everyone's getting the cancelled email.
Meanwhile order is still showing processing, and credit hasn't been put back into supie cash

Unrelated but relevant: if you goto their FB page you can see they've seem to have hidden comments on a few posts.
and last few reviews are 😐

From Supie: Thanks for getting in touch.
You should have received an email from us about your orders this morning - please check your spam if you haven't received it.

While we all love a discount, unfortunately your order did not meet the criteria for the promotions that you were trying to redeem, and as such we've had to cancel your order.

The code "WINTERWARMERS" that you used on one of your orders was only valid for orders over $100 in value. This was clearly set out in the email and ts & cs that we sent out for this promotion.
The Supie Cash you earned through our referral program was unfortunately not valid either. To earn Supie Cash through referring friends, your friend needs to spend at least $100 on their first order. The friends you referred spent $0.00, which doesn't qualify. This is also laid out in our terms & conditions.

We have fully refunded you for any actual money spent on your order and this should appear back in your bank account within a few working days.
We would of course love to have you use Supie, and you're more than welcome to place another order if you wish as long as it doesn't breach those terms.

      Loool what a joke

Im glad i didnt bother i had a feeling it wouldnt end well, it didn't appear economical for both parties.

So many questions, what you were ordering,
Weight of the parcel, contents and quantity.

"The bundle may include potatoes, carrots, kumara, quarter pumpkin, parsnips, yams, herbs and shallots."

  • Have you guys received your refund?
