Terms & conditions

1. The Promotion begins on 29 May 2023 and ends on 11 June 2023 (Promotion Period).
2. If you were not a Pay Monthly customer at 12:00am on 29 May 2023 and during the Promotion Period you sign up to a Pay Monthly Plan (Eligible Plan) you will be eligible for a 50% discount (Discount) on your monthly plan fee for up to 6 consecutive months (Discount Period).
3. The Promotion is available to existing Prepay customers who sign up to an Eligible Plan during the Promotion Period.
4. The Discount is applied to your monthly plan fee only and excludes other additional charges, including add-ons.
5. The Discount is repayable on a prorated basis if you end you end your Eligible Plan within 6 months.
6. The Discount may not be applied until your second Bill.
7. Usual monthly plan fee applies after the Discount Period.
   One Discount per plan.
8. You must remain on an Eligible Plan during the Discount Period to keep receiving the Discount.
9. The Discount is not transferable or exchangeable, and is not available in conjunction with other offers or plans offered at a discounted rate.
10. The Promotion is not available on Business mobile plans and employees of 2degrees or Two Degrees New Zealand Limited.

    On the small print T&Cs it says repayable pro-rata after 6 months (point 5), contradicting the FB ad 9 months, so could be an argument there.

    Point 6 also mentions discount may not be applied until 2nd bill, something to be aware of.

  Unlimited data is revolutionary, this does not have i am on myrepublic unlimited data text phone it has 2 Mbps speed which is enough for 720 p to 480 p video torrents high quality music etc all for just 25 bucks

    Morning, I’m considering switching to this my republic plan. How’s it like for using social media - I primarily use apps like WhatsApp, FB messenger and Snapchat. What’s your experience been using apps like this on the plan. TIA

      Works very smooth no issues i can think of its faster then 1.2 Mbps endless data with skinny

    I dont think any price would ever convince me to go back to my republic. The most painful customer experience ever. Issue was their fault and took me 12 hours on their chat (they dont have a number you can ring unless you are signing up) over 3 days to resolve. Zero apology. Needless to say I changed within the week.

      Yes only chat support activation needed on chat , 4g has to be configured , migration of phone number takes a day or so , data speeds 2 Mbps unlimited for 25 is very good offer no issues as such it's set it once and forget it , i did this for 3 x connection for all my family members couldn't be happier

        Sorry for late reply. Yes, used them for ages with no issue. Then moved house, took the router I bought from them with me. Then sent me a ton of stuff to do but to conplete what they were asking, I had to disconnect from the chat each time. Could never get the same person when i got back online. Eventually got email correspondence from their level 3 support. Wasted 12 hours only to find out they had not set up the connection properly. They blamed chorus so didnt want to even offer an apology.

  if you choose $60 plan, and end it (port out or switch to prepay) on the 1st day of your 10th month, (6x$30+3x$60+$2)/9=$40.23 per month.

    Or pay full price on Kogan and get pretty much the same for around $27.50 per month.

    Better yet, wait for half price or BOGOF and get it effectively for less than $14 per month.
