Could you please recommend a good carbon steel wok, about 28-32cm? Intended for regular use (about twice a week). Thanks.

Thanks. How did you season yours?
Advertised as pre-seasoned which appears to be true. I washed mine thoroughly in soapy water before seasoning on the hob using canola oil.
I have the same one and also recommend it.
If you're cooking for a family though I prefer bigger woks now, 38cm - 40cm range.
How deep is the wok? I'm looking to replace my teflon wok which is 30cm wide x 10cm deep, which is a good size for us, so I hope the 30cm one is OK.
@sunshinenz: It’s got quite a wide flat bottom, so I think it’s not as deep. Probably between 7-8cm. Might pay to look at one in Stevens if you can.
They have a 35cm one which may be deeper
@kinetic9: Thanks, it's about 7-8cm deep as you say. Agreed that 35cm is more suitable for a family.
I got the exact same wok, it's preseasoned but I always wash it with dishwash soap (which washes the seasoning away), so afterwards I always add a few drops of cooking oil and wipe it around with a paper towel.
I picked this up recently. Even at the full price of $50 I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
