Noticed this today that you can sign up for a new account in the McDonald’s app using your gmail address and just changing where the full stop is. Eg fakeemail@gmail.com becomes fakeemai.l@gmail.com.
This allows you to get a $8 medium combo or a $9 large combo. If you order the $9 large combo you then have enough point for a free large chips on your next order - can be placed anytime

Have you tried redeeming the same deal on different accounts on the same phone?
I remember years ago with the new account $3 big mac deal trying to make a second account but it wouldn't let me redeem it on the same phone so had to use a spare phone.
I used one on my phone and then logged into a different account and used it again. Didn’t seem to block me, I’d a iPhone.
Sweet, I also remember trying when they have the free nugget day and that blocked me too.
Same on android no issues. The app was previously fort knox.
It won't work if item is free, but other offers that requires you to hand over your money seem to work fine.
Not enough point for large fries. Got 3900 points just enough for any drink or reg sundae.
Did you buy the large combo or the medium? The large gave me the free chips
