Thanks to cykoman for the Free Shipping code; these toilet rolls are $7.99 (usually $10.99) for 30 pack of toilet rolls. These are very good quality and when spending $50 you can use the 5% off on checkout on the website.

You could either buy 7 of them, or buy something else (I bought 3 of these and 3 of the Persil Laundry Liquid also on special at The Warehouse)

  • 2 ply tho…..

    • Not a problem to a folder. Guessing you're a scruncher, though…. ✌(-‿-)✌

  • These are really good for the price. Don't ever buy the 40 roll $10 Warehouse brand one, those are terrible and super small

  • I work out value by (((ply * rolls) * number of sheets) / cost). Basically the higher the better.

Usually the bargain paper rates alright using that formula, especially when there are sales on for it.

It gives your deal a power wiper rating of 1522.
This budget paper gets a power wiper rating of 1263 (If spending over $50).
This product actually comes in with a higher value than both the products above, with a slightly higher rating of 1605 when spending above $50.

This doesn't take comfort into account though (Other than ply count), so maybe some people are more precious than others

    • I would highly advise against using those.

      • Beats a hose or a hand though, the two options most common over here!

        • Actually think that the hose/hand (plus douche) is a much cleaner, more hygienic method. [and a lot cheaper!]

        • @Jay:

Except if you didn't learn it from a young age, it's extremely messy, in the way of water everywhere!

        • @Shaw: Practice makes perfect ! Standard procedure in our household. Too many years working in Asia I guess….

        • @Jay:

Yea, although growing up in NZ, the thought of a hose in a toilet is pretty strange.

          Seems pretty normal around here.

I tried it once, and walked around all day with soaked pants, now it's a last resort!

        • @Shaw:  Small (fast dry travel style) hand towel and a ziplock bag is crucial to comfortable travel in parts unknown. If washed well, its only clean water on it. Sounds horrific to the unfamiliar and squeamish, but with familiarity, anything else seems cringe-worthy and barbaric by comparison. Cultural biases are always adds interesting dimensions to travelling and living abroad.

        • +1

          @Jay:

Oh I agree, I mean, the wife won't look at anything that doesn't have paper, I'm prepared to atleast be adventurous.

If all places were the same, it would be pretty boring going anywhere. Differences is what makes travelling interesting!

      • But I have never tried the floral ones, but you would need to buy 17 packs for the 5% discount.

        • Yea, that is alot, althought even without the 5% discount, it is still a tiny bit better value.
