I notice the email with the free loaf states the Welcome reward can only be redeemed with a purchase of $5.00 or more.
However, when you login it just shows the 2x free loaves with no indication of a minimum purchase.
Will try and redeem without purchase.In the email with the free loaves, it does state:
Welcome Reward (Excludes Large Cape Seed and all LOWFOD loaves) can only be redeemed with a purchase of $5.00 or more (after discounts and vouchers) at any Bakers Delight in New Zealand and is available to all new Bakers Club members. Subject to product availability. Offer valid 14 days from account verification and redemption. In order to redeem, you must scan the code from your Bakers Club App or provide a staff member at the bakery with your phone number. Cannot be sold, exchanged for cash, transferred, assigned, or shared with family or friends. Cannot be redeemed with another reward. Cannot be redeemed within a combo purchase.
Weird. I signed up using the email address that I had previously signed up with the old reward program but didn't get the 2 free loaves. I just signed up again using a different email and now I've got the 2 free loaves.
I've never signed up before and didn't get free anything when I did haha
I have signed up previously, but never got a freebie either- must be random.
@doggos2: Just signed up my husband and 10 minutes later he got an email with a free loaf, went into the account and there are 2 free loaves. Score!
Must not be giving it out to all sign ups. I guess sign up with another email address and hope for the 2x free loaves.

Worked for me collected two free loafs (sour dough), had to spend $5 to get the free loaf which is in the t&cs in the email.
Their machines were not working , so they noted my barcode number

Yep, got it. It didn't show up on the app nor the website till 5min later after signing up.
I was able to get a loaf with any purchase. Got a pizza thing for lunch :)
Did the scan via the app work ?
They said it hasn't been and asked for my name. No clue if that's the truth or not.
App scan worked for me. Staff member figured out that she had to add the loaf of bread to the order in order for the voucher to apply.
Only locations are in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo, Hastings and Christchurch.
Unless you live in these places or regularly visit these places, not really worth signing up.
Redeemed a loaf today. The shop manager knew this promo but their system won't recognise my info even the newly installed scanner scaned the barcode in the app successfully. She had to register me again with another email address. Therefore my purchase today earned points for another account, which I don't even konw the password.

Yeah forgot to use mine and now disappeared too. Bakers delight is a bit out of the way for me.
Can you expand on this a bit more please OP. Any other ways to earn points? Is $5 off the only reward?
