    Anyone have insider information about when it'll be back? Seems overdue. Or whether KFC manukau or out west still do the hot and spicy?

      Anywhere they had a Texas chicken I believe. Manuaku and Westgate from experience, was a free swap all year round, then went to $0.50 per piece then I think they increased the price again before it was just seasonal winter like the rest of the stores.

        KFC lincoln rd doesn't do the hot and spicy although the Texas chicken branch is near by. Not sure about the Westgate..

          @Veganzombie: No KFC store do Hot and Spicy and haven’t done so for around 12 months now. Texas chicken is MUCH better tasting, not near as greasy, portion size is bigger… only thing is it costs a little more. It’s a shame Texas don’t do something like this gimmie 5 or I’d be there a lot more often.

            @Joshyss: I agree. But their quality has gone down recently IMO. I personally found Chicking better than Texas. Give it a try if you have a chance. I paid $24.90 for 6 pieces chicken (you can choose it from normal, hot and spicy, and grillee) chips, potato gravy and 1.5L soft drink.

      Hot and spicy always follows after double down and kfc promotion period is every 6 weeks so I'd imagine it will be back sometime early next month

        Nice! I only get KFC when hot n spicy is available. I remember about 10 years ago when they had these ridiculously MASSIVE hot n spicy pieces, I always wondered how they managed to pull that off.

  I used this deal yesterday and I finished the 5 pieces without much trouble, where as 6 months ago I couldn't even finish the 4th piece. Something tells me that the chicken pieces are getting smaller day by day.
