First attempt at a 'real' cheapie offering. I just opened my uber eats app and see that multiple eateries have a spend $5 save $5 promotion that is applicable. No code, it applies at checkout.
I tried several places to find items for exatly $5 for example naan bread, spring roll, hot dog, lasange topper, just to see, when selecting the pick up option the total comes to $0 at each place and allows me to place order. I have not actually done this but in theory you could go to the various places and obtain a free, but not necessarily healthy, collection of food.
If you wanted desert, you could splurge and get a $7 frozen yoghurt from the real fruit ice cream shop for $2.
I am in Christchurch. Not sure if this is location specific. Same places available on the website, when not logged in, so doesn't appear to be targetted.
I have tried to upload a screen shot from my app to show the example of places rather than linking to the ubereats website.
Dammit, ordered food an hour ago :P
