2017 Tiguan Car battery
Are there any alternatives to the OEM
Rang a few places seems they are all around the $650 mark installed (equivalents)
Century DIN65LH AGM Battery is one of the equivalents I believe

Needs to be either EFB or AGM

Maybe can use price match policy to get an extra 10-15% off, if also sold at M10 etc
See if YHI will do you a cash sale

Are you sure you need one? 6 years is on the shorter side for AGM, a smart charger can often work wonders. If you have access to a trade account it usually knocks 30-40% off on batteries. If you don't have a trade account you can use you could try going somewhere like NAPA, BNT etc and just politely ask for trade pricing.
Thanks, unfortunately COVID is to blame, didn't get much use. One cell has died has even after trickle charging, it reads 10.5V max.
I might try Century Yuasa Batteries (NZ) Ltd, they asked for trade account - think they supply supercheap autos
If you know someone with an N3 card you can get Century Yuasa batteries direct from one of their offices (not agents) at significantly cheaper prices.
Offices here
Unfortunately you can’t get a price online or over the phone so you have to go to the office to find out.
That's the one or a trade account. I have neither.
Does your car have start stop. If so you need a programmer to input the battery information into the ECU
Yes needs to be coded in. Would most "battery suppliers have these ?
Yeah local Century/Yuasa shop did it on the spot.
call and quote model saying its got start stop they should say if they can do it
