Hi all I have never built a gaming PC before.
thinking of buying a second hand 3060ti for around $400 and then budgetting for rest for $600.
I already have monitors/ssd/keyboard/mouse.
I honesly dont know what CPU/motherboard etc works well with each other.
Thanks to AI.
Certainly! Building a gaming PC can be an exciting and rewarding experience. Here are some suggestions for CPU, motherboard, and RAM combinations that would work well with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti:
CPU:
Motherboard:
When selecting a motherboard, you'll want to make sure it has the appropriate socket and features for your chosen CPU. Here are a couple of options:
For AMD Ryzen 5 5600X:
For Intel Core i5-11600K:
RAM:
For gaming, 16GB of RAM is generally sufficient, but you can go with 32GB if you plan to engage in content creation or other memory-intensive tasks. Look for DDR4 RAM with a speed of 3200MHz or higher from reputable brands like Corsair, G.Skill, or Kingston.
Remember to check compatibility between the CPU, motherboard, and RAM before making a purchase. Additionally, ensure that your power supply unit (PSU) has enough wattage to support your components, and that your PC case has enough space to accommodate your chosen motherboard and graphics card.
I hope this helps you get started on building your gaming PC! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
