$2.57 at Gull Speedlane Wiri 🤣
When it comes to the quality of petrol? Which one is better? Just want to know what majority of our Cheapies are using… Z, Caltex, BP, Mobil, Gull, PnS, NPD or Waitomo?
Thank you
It should be all similar as they may be importing it together from same terminal port
Higher octane has better antiknock ability, 10 to 20 % ethanol blending which is not done in NZ also helps in better antiknock ability and over 100 octane rating but with reduced power with blending , I think ethanol should be locally produced from waste biomas , ie farm waste but I don't think NZ politicians have that foresight we should also produce biogas ,Note that gull has their own import facility.
Ethanol blending is done in NZ. Most notiable is gull force 10 (their 98ron product) which is 10% erhanol.
I understand the ethanol is locally produced from waste, and gets a bit of a tax break.
Note that e10 has 97% of the energy content of streight dino juice, when you compare value.
Nice timing with needing to fill up, 273 for 91 at Gull Stanmore
