In a nod to every All Blacks’ trophy lift – and in the hope of adding a fourth – Uber Eats is winding the clock back on four key menu items, with the quartet reduced to roughly 1987 prices.

On Saturday October 28 and Sunday October 29 eaters will be able to visit select restaurants and get their hands on Cheeseburgers for $2, entire Hawaiian Pizzas for just $4, a heap of delectable Fish and Chips will be on offer for $3, while Hot Chips will never taste so good – with the ultimate side available for just $1.

Uber Eats will fund every dollar of this promotion across hundreds of available restaurants to ensure the merchants experience more demand while still receiving the full price of the items they sell. So if an eater is seeing $3 off the restaurant owner will still bank the normally advertised price.

Kiwis are only eligible to apply this promotion at a single merchant on one occasion across the weekend.

    The ones I saw from my quick look for Auckland Central:

    $1 chips - Evan's Kebab Ponsonby
    $1 chips - Kebab King Symonds St
    $2 classic hamburger (normally $15) - Broadway Diner, which is Newmarket's version of the White Lady.

    Broadway Diner's stuff is great takeaway fare - definitely grab that burger if you're near Newmarket at night.

          Broadway diner is open into the early hours of the morning, so the deal was probably showing at 1am when Plug posted, but not showing now because they're closed.

          I'd wager the deal will be back when they open again at 6pm today. That's where we plan to eat.

      Added note on the order for Spicy hot sauce and garlic aioli sauce on my fish and chips. Don't expect fresh fish from kebab shop but decent quantity and quality for $3. Ordered 2 for $6 - Lunch sorted.

      You can order two of each from one store offering the promotion. Every store that offers it, you can place an order for, no limit on this

        I thought this was the case as I placed multiple orders for lunch throughout the week succesfully however just looked now and this offer has now vanished from every store, either that or uber canceled the promo for everyone which is unlinkely.

        Edit: So basically if you're going to do multiple orders place them all consecutively otherwise you may miss out when uber decides your time is up. You can schedule these for later in the week also.
