Hope you manage to get your money back! I'm not sure you will though
Might be too late but try a charge back on you CC asap and hope it goes thru before the administrators freeze everything.
Goodnight sweet prince
Supie was really easy to use, and their pricing, especially for produce, was quite competitive. Hopefully, you'll get your money back
who pays the voluntary administrator (PWC)?
The company will still have assets that can be sold if necessary, they just don’t have cashflow.
Administration is the first step to try and see if there is any way to save the company and if not at least get the best return possible for creditors.
PWC will still get paid.I would think PwC would not have accepted the administration appointment if they didn't think they could get paid.
Sometimes an insolvency practitioner asks the shareholder / director for a 'deposit' against the expected fees before accepting appointment.
They apparently have a fully stocked warehouse full of food and other things - some of which suppliers will be trying to take back - but at least some of it will be sellable for cash . Never fear for PWC they never go hungry.
As I said above, if there was any doubt, they would have asked for a contribution from the shareholder(s) / director(s) - they won't be dependent on just selling the inventory and other assets if there is any chance it won't cover their expected fees.
Insolvency Practice is a business like any other - you don't go into an appointment without having a reasonable certainty of making a profit.

I’m a Supie customer that has paid for products I have not received - what am I entitled to?
Customers that have paid for goods they have not received may be able to claim a chargeback with their credit card supplier. We recommend contacting your bank to determine the process for claiming a chargeback.
In liquidation - Just saw on reddit, which lead to a NZHerald article. Stiiink!
