Cracker jack has roman candle packs, but not that cheap nowadays. Check out their range online. Otherwise, would be those pop up stalls everywhere, I'm under the impression that they don't offer good values vs. the "major" retailers (only cracker jack is left anyway).
Just been to Pyro company, Boom brothers and Bad boy around Mount Albert. Boom brothers were very costly e.g. selling sparkler pack for 35 which was 25 at Bad boy. Pyro and BadBoy were similar in terms of the price. Pyro had more variety. Bad boy had more big packs.
Wait, $35 for… sparklers? Is that where things are at now?
Yeah, I gave up on fireworks after seeing the prices at a pop up shop last year. Couldn't believe it, they must make a killing every year, people keep buying them and each year they get less impressive.
Long gone are the days of kids (like myself) buying 50c packs of Double Happys and 75c bricks of Tom Thumbs from the dairy on the way home from primary school 🤣
Once The Warehouse + supermarkets committed to not stocking any last year any chance of reasonable pricing went out the window
The pop ups have ridiculous advertised pricing but they are willing to negoniate. Got a big pack of sparklers and 9 pack roman candle type from $70 down to $30. Kept trying to leave and the dude kept dropping the price.
Not sure if wah lees in CBD is still selling, they used to have a solid range.
